Bacon and Peas Pasta

FH made this pasta for my birthday gathering last year. This is so so yummy and apparently it is very simple to cook. I also received great comments when I made this for church's thanksgiving dinner just a week ago.

6 bacon rashers, chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 handful of frozen green peas
1 packet of 500g spaghetti
2 handfuls of grated parmesan cheese
olive oil
300ml thickened cream (use the light version if you like)

Cook pasta according to the package instructions.

Heat up the fry pan. When it is hot, add 1-2 tbsp olive oil, bacon and garlic. Stir-fry them until you smell the fragrance of fried bacon. Add peas and then cream and continue to cook for 3 minutes. Add cheese and cook until the cheese just melts.

Add the cooked pasta into the mixture and mix well. Serve warm. (If your fry pan/wok is not big enough, serve cooked pasta on plate and then pour sauce over. Mix well before eating.)
